Activision have said recently that there is a new Call of Duty in the works to be out in 2010. With Modern Warfare 2 just day(s) away from hitting the consumer market, we can all now look forward to the 7th Call of Duty. No further information is out yet, but we have a official source.
Activision publishing is expected to release a strong product line of innovative new titles. The diversified lineup will include, among others, titles based on the best-selling franchises in the company's history, including Call of Duty, Guitar Hero, Tony Hawk, Shrek, and Spiderman, and a select few new intellectual properties such as Blur and Singularity, and a strong catalog based on our top sellers of 2009.

IGN posted the very first hands-on of the Bad Company 2: Multiplayer Beta for the Play Station 3. They got the chance to play the beta and share us their environments. And for the PC gamers happy news! There will be a beta for PC coming as well, december this year...
PS3 gamers are in for a special treat on November 19 when the Bad Company 2 multiplayer beta launches exclusively for their favorite system. PC gamers can look for a beta to launch in December, while Xbox 360 users can expect a different demo to launch early next year.
The amount of vehicular battles that I saw transpire as my defenders kept getting pushed back -- thus making the map expand into new areas -- was staggering. Humvees and ATVs were usually the first to hit the scene and were easy enough to deal with, but once the tanks rolled in all hell broke loose. I found that arming myself with a rocket launcher and keeping between the houses worked as the best defense. Associate Producer, Barry Tingle stated on the EA UK forums that a Battlefield 2142 patch is in the works, although a release date is unknown. You can read the statement or here.
I can't give you a date on when it will be done but programmers are still working on it here. Localisation has been completed and we have been in closed beta for a couple of weeks and fixing some issues that came up in those tests.
