E3 2010: Call of Duty: Black Ops Impressions
Fighting from cover and helicopter cockpits.

IGN recently posted another Call of Duty: Blackops preview with a excerpt of the game.

Since Call of Duty is pretty much an annual thing now, it may be a little difficult to get excited about each release. Even though the formula may be familiar at this point, this year's game, Treyarch's Black Ops, is still looking like it'll deliver an exciting first-person shooting experience. At E3 2010 we saw a demo of two stages. The first, called WMD, took place in a snowy Russian mountain range as a covert ops unit tried to storm a facility. Read the rest...

E3 2010: Battlefield: Bad Company 2 Vietnam Confirmed
At EA's press conference today, the next expansion for Battlefield: Bad Company 2 was officially revealed in trailer form. Although the details are extremely slim, the trailer started with a long shot of the jungles with military helicopters flying overhead. A Creedence Clearwater tune was playing in the background. The trailer ends suddenly with the expansion pack's logo, which states that the expansion will be coming this winter. IGN recently update this confirmation with an update as well!

Update: An official press release was distributed after EA's conference, providing more details on the Vietnam expansion. The digital pack will be a multiplayer-centric expansion, which introduces four new sandbox-style maps that will be playable with classic Bad Company 2 modes. Players will control either U.S. Marines or the North Vietnamese Army, and the expansion is powered by the Frostbite engine. The press release notes that there will be authentic vehicles and weapons included in the pack, as well as new Trophies and Achievements.

The music will certainly sounds familiar to Battlefield: Vietnam players, but the Expansion pack will be running on the Battlefield: Bad Company engine. (Frostbite)

E3 2010: Medal of Honor Multiplayer Beta Test Coming In June
At today's EA Press Conference a live demonstration was given for Medal of Honor's multiplayer. While this demo was too short to really form any sort of opinions on, the important news to come out of it was that a Multiplayer Beta test goes live on June 21 for PS3, 360 and PC.

The game was being played on PS3, and had numbers constantly popping up to tell players exactly how they were being rewarded for the kills they were pulling off. Will it simply be another Call of Duty? Find out when you try the Beta later this month, or wait until the game comes out on October 12, 2010.

E3 2010: Medal of Honor Multiplayer Preview
IGN and many other website's are writing up their first seen impressions of new games which are presented. One of them...the new Medal of Honor. Start reading or watching below...

Medal of Honor Press Conference

You begin your online career as a U.S. Army Ranger, but progress up levels, unlocking new items on your way to becoming a Tier 1 Operator. And you definitely want to become Tier 1 -- that's when you unlock a beard. The beard doesn't kill, it just looks bad ass. On the way to unlocking a beard, you'll be opening up new modifications for your weapons. Weapons can support three mods, which can be switched out between rounds. DICE promises hundreds of combinations. Weapons will become one of the biggest variables in Medal of Honor, far more so than in more first-person shooters.

There are four modes available in Medal of Honor multiplayer, two in the beta, spread out over eight maps. Combat Mission takes you to the Helmand Valley, an actual location in Afghanistan. This is a series of objective-based missions. The one I was shown had us playing as U.S. soldiers attempting to destroy a large weapons cache. Our opponents played as Taliban insurgents hell-bent on stopping us.
