Call of Duty: Blackops Confirmed [Updated] 
For over a year, rumors have circulated that Treyarch's installment in the Call of Duty series would be set during the Cold War, or the Vietnam War specifically. Today, Silicon Valley blog VentureBeat claims that the game's title will indeed be Call of Duty: Vietnam when it is revealed on SpikeTV late Friday night / Saturday morning. Call of Duty: World at War developer Treyarch has announced that the in developement next Call of Duty game will be named 'Call of Duty: Black Ops' and will be released on November 9, 2010.

Call of Duty 7 To Be Revealed Friday Night on GTTV 
The next Call of Duty game, in development at Treyarch (Call of Duty 3, Call of Duty: World at War), is set to be revealed on this week's episode of GameTrailers TV, which airs Friday night at 12:40 AM EST on SpikeTV. Rumors and speculation point to the series shifting to Vietnam this time around.

Nothing is officially confirmed, but things are hopefully more clear after the show.

Bad Company 2 Owners Get Early Access To Medal Of Honor Sniper Rifle 
EA and DICE have just announced that folks who own and play Battlefield: Bad Company 2 will receive early access to the M24 sniper rifle in Medal Of Honor when EALA ships the game later this year.

The M24 access will be automatically awarded when Medal of Honor releases to all players who have bought Battlefield: Bad Company 2 new and claimed their VIP code (in the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 box only) or played Battlefield: Bad Company 2 online (PC). The same EA account must be used in Battlefield: Bad Company 2 and Medal of Honor to make use of the M24.

New Steam Client Officially Released 
The 2010 Steam client is now live! The overhaul changes many things about how information is organized on Steam, and makes it easier to do the most important things on the platform, like play games with friends. We wrote up an overview of what's new, so definitely check that out so that you don't miss anything. As we've mentioned, the beta testing went well - participants suggested valuable changes and reported lots of bugs for us to squash. We're very interested in your thoughts on the new client, so please stop by the forums to tell us what you think...
